Re: Equitrac Client for Mac OS Mavericks(10.9) I was excited when i saw this link above but it is not for Equitrac Professsional. I have been calling them once a month since November and still no word on an Equitrac Pro Mavericks client.

Equitrac Printing Installation Guide for Mac OSX 10.5 and 10.6 In order to print to the multifunction printers at Queens University using your Mac computer, a special print client must be installed on your system. This client will create the printer, as well as enable additional options like seeing the cost of the print job, account balance notifications, etc. Before installing the client first you must install the Ricoh Aficio printer driver that will provide the full functions of the printer.

After opening it, locate it in the menu bar and select it. Now in the menu at the top, select EquitracPrinterUtilityX and click Preferences Make the following changes and then click OK. Now return to the original downloads folder and double ‐ click the file named EquitracExpressMacOS10Bxxxx.mpkg (the xxxx will be four numbers that represent a version number.) Run this install package to complete the installation of the client. “Follow-Me-Printer” Setup In order to install the printer, return to the download folder and select EquitracPrinterUtilityX again (or it may be available in the menu bar for selecting.) On the menu click File and then New Printer. In the window that appears, enter 10.132.22.20 in the DRE Address field, then click Get Printers.

After clicking Get Printers, a list of printers will be returned. Click the arrows to see the full list, and then select “Follow-Me-Printer” from the list. Browse through to Devices//Library/Printers/PPDs/Contents/Resources, and select RICOH Aficio MP C6501 After clicking Open, click OK to complete the printer setup. You may now print from any application and select the “Follow-Me-Printer”. When you print, you will see a login box asking for your ID and password. This will be the same Username and Password you use for accessing email (everything before the “@” sign). Enter your username and password and click OK.

Note: You may have been assigned a billing code in order to bill certain print jobs to a specific department. If so, on the following screen enter a billing code and click OK. If not, you may simply leave the Billing Code box blank and click OK to continue printing.

In order to process the print job, click “Accept” At this point you can retrieve your printed document(s) from any of the campus printers that support Follow-Me printing.
